Thoughts on Paris Attacks


I was driving home from work last night when the story of the Paris attacks started broadcasting. The terrorists had not yet been contained and nobody knew anything.

My first thought was to pray for the folks of Paris. Yes, I can pray while driving. Prayer is just a conversation with God, like a conversation I would have with someone in the passenger seat.

Before I reached home the news had announced that police were storming the concert hall, so I , thanked God for allowing me to live in a country where we can defend ourselves and don’t have to wait for the cops to show up. How many lives might have been saved if law-abiding French people had the ability to conceal carry? We can’t know because that isn’t what happened, but I think about these things a lot these days.
