#NealRauhauser Thinks He’s A “Tail Dragger”, But He Can’t Wipe Out His Tracks

Neal Rauhauser has gotten away with skating on the edges of the law so long that he thinks law enforcement is stupid and will never catch up to him.

Jay Batman has two articles up from yesterday relating to scoundrel Neal Rauhauser here and here. In the latest posting Jay outlines Rauhauser’s neglect of his familial obligations vis a vis child support. (You see, ol’ Neal is over 30,000 bucks behind in payments.)Here’s a bit of the article;

That’s where we come in.  I know that thousands of you have read the prior posts on Neal, and I know that hundreds of you have been subjected to his negative and defamatory attacks, his online bullying, and his threats.  Now, many of you have doubtless fantasized about hitting Neal where it hurts, and doing all sorts of harm to him. Well, now you can hit Neal where it hurts: his pride.  You can all be the decent, empathetic, and caring individuals he isn’t, and the way you can do that is simple: donate to the Omaha Conservatory of Music, where Neal’s daughter Madeline Grace studies the cello and is learning various other instruments.

I offered to set up a private website for Nancy with her PayPal account as a button for people to help her out, but she declined. Instead, she would appreciate help with the conservatory.  You can contribute at http://www.omahacm.org/ and hit Neal where it hurts.  Even if you only contribute a dollar, that’s a dollar more than he’s been man enough send the past few years.  You can designate your contribute for Madeline Grace Rauhauser to offset the cost of lessons and instruments, or you can just contribute to the Conservatory itself.  The Omaha Conservatory of Music serves musically gifted children of all races, religions, backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses, and as a non-profit, they could use your contributions to give the gift of music to so many kids who have ability but need the guidance to realize the full extent of their gifts in music.

Notice that Neal’s ex-wife didn’t ask for money for herself, but for donations to be made to the school her daughter attends. That’s a nice gesture and worth doing.

In related news, Aaron Walker has had part of the peace order against him lifted, albeit temporarily. Here’s part of what Aaron has written today after returning from the courthouse;

First, dear readers, you should expect this post to change radically–or perhaps I will start a new post.  I just wanted to get this off my chest immediately.
I am free once again to do something very simple.  I am allowed to say the name Brett Kimberlin again.  The fact I was not allowed to do so, even in a post directed to the world at large and rather than any communication directed to Kimberlin himself, is a sign that things have gone horribly wrong in the Maryland legal system.  But more on that later.

Last Wednesday I sought an emergency stay of Judge Vaughey’s flagrantly unconstitutional prior restraint upon my speech.  And it was granted.

You can go to the link to read the order. Aaron goes on to implore people to let the criminal justice system take care of Brett Kimberlin and his cohorts;

To say that Aaron is happy would be an understatement. Here’s his reaction;

Of course, Stacy McCain is all over this story. Here are a few details;

FROM AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION
At a hearing this morning in Rockville, Maryland, a Montgomery County Circuit Court granted an emergency motion on behalf of attorney/blogger Aaron Walker. The effect of the ruling will permit Walker to resume writing and speaking about convicted terrorist bomber Brett Kimberln.

Judge Nelson W. Rupp Jr. presided over today’s hearing, with attorney Reginald W. Bours III representing Walker, who did not attend the hearing at Judicial Center in Rockville. In a brief telephone interview, Walker said that Kimberlin filed a counter-motion that did not address the First Amendment legal issues at stake, but rather “made a bunch of new accusations” against Walker.

It is important to note that Judge Rupp’s ruling only temporarily permits Walker to speak and write about Kimberlin, pending a July 5 hearing in Maryland state appeals court. Walker is appealing a May 29 ruling by Montgomery County District Court Judge C.J. Vaughey that granted a peace order sought by Kimberlin against Walker.

Walker said he plans to file a report on today’s hearing at his blog, Allergic to Bull. A Virginia attorney, Walker has become the center of national attention since May 17, when he published a 28,000-word blog post entitled, “How Brett Kimberlin Tried to Frame Me for a Crime (And How You Can Help!).” Walker’s post highlighted Kimberlin’s long-running efforts harass and intimidate bloggers who had written about Kimberlin’s criminal history.

We’re waiting with bated breath to see what new complaints Kimberlin has come up with. He didn’t address the first amendment issues in his new claims. We’ll just have to wait and see what new lies Kimberlin comes up with next. He’s sounding like a crybaby to me;

Some words of advise from Bob at the Camp;

As Ace writes, this is a ‘Temporary Victory’.  Never give into the temptation to underestimate your enemy — in the rush that accompanies every victory, it is an easy thing to do.  Brett Kimberlin and His Associates may have overplayed their hand, but, remember, if they are beasts, they are now wounded beasts.

Sound advise Bob, well worth heeding.

Patterico gives us a tease;

Aaron tells me by phone that the word is Judge Rupp signed the order, modifying the peace order against Aaron to let him speak publicly about Kimberlin.

P.S. There is a very interesting aspect of Kimberlin’s response that I will be blogging in full. You will definitely want to read that post. Trust me on this one.

And it bears repeating. Aaron implores us not to do anything stupid like, for instance, calling Kimberlin on the phone, harassing him or his family members or otherwise doing anything that could be construed as harassment.
